Standard First Aid, CPR Level C/AED

Prerequiste:None.

Duration: 16 hours - 2 days (Full In-Class Course)

Duration: *Optional Blended Learning Program: 16 hours - 8 hours of self study/e-learning with a one day in-classroom session. If booking the blended learning program, online portion must be completed prior to attending the 8 hour skill session.

Certification Earned: You will receive a Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR level C and AED certification valid for 3 years with successful completion and mandatory attendance.

    Childcare First Aid, CPR Level B/AED

    Certification Earned: You will receive a Canadian Red Cross Childcare First Aid & CPR level B and AED certification valid for 3 years with successful completion and mandatory attendance.

    Course Description: This course is ideal for people who care for children: parents, nannies, teachers and home-care providers. In Alberta this course is the requirement for day-care and day-home workers and meets the standards of the Alberta Family & Social Services department.

    Basic Life Support CPR (BLS)

    Prerequiste: Intended for health/medical professionals.

    Duration: 5-6 hours

    Certification Earned: Red Cross - Basic Life Support valid for 12 months

    This course is designed to support medical teams like Nurses, EMS, Fire to assist people who are having cardiac arrest incidents. BLS education helps individuals gain confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and provides them with the important steps to work as a team. This is the new Canadian Red Cross Program that will replace the existing Health Care Provider Program.
